Can we draft outside of our own franchise?
This years cheat sheet will be interesting. I am counting on quite a few sleepers ranked 50 to 100th. Some one should take Shaq dad in the second and Oden in the first. That should help the sleeper picks a bit. Can we please get the other 10 on soon so we know how many other players to get on? I know I am one that would like to get the team situation sorted out, so we can get that out of the way. I still dont understand how we can use a salary cap and only draft from one franchise. I can see maybe the first two picks from our own franchise may work. If Marcelo is Portland, I need a few starters from that franchise for trade material:) Thanks.
Well, Paolo, I think we will find out in a few weeks. I would sure like to get Connor Knox from Australia. He would add some trading drama to the league a bit. I will see if I have his email when the league gets reset again. Some of those guys that you and Marcelo know would be great as well. Those guys know what they are doing.

Just as long as Lakers do not win. I am looking to see if the Blazers will play and beat Lakers this year. Great humiliation.
I am assuming the first round picks is a franchise pick, straight draft, with first picks decifering the order of the second round an on. Does that sound about right?
Hey Phoenix, how many leagues were you in last season?
So if we are doing a franchise type league, are we to pick one player from our franchise for our first round pick? Also, do you know when the salaries are going to be updated? If it is when the NBA fantasy league starts in late Sept./early Oct., I hope we will be drafting after the #'s are put out.
