I won't be able to run the league anymore. I can't say more than I'm sorry and that although I wish that I could run this league - I can't. I wish you all the best luck. Ladies and gentlemen!

The league is open and I'm currently working out all the kinks and such. Some details are still not eligable for setting yet (thanks NBA.com) but I'm currently doing the best I can. It's said that NBA.com will be uploading all the trades from last year and such and I want to see what'll happen. I'm hoping for the best to happen this year and I've extended the roster numbers so that there are more players for people to use as well as more players so that people have to move their salaries around.

Veterans are currently undergoing a scheduled clock-in before I accept all the new owners which ends on the 15th. I have about 30 people wanting to join which means I have to organize a reserve list of owners that will be available for inactive slots. Please keep checking in and I'm looking forward to starting this year!

Yes... This is still a fantasy league which means all the teams will have fantasy rosters.

You won't have to worry about sleeper picks. Bear in mind that there are tons of players floating in the pools this year. The salary cap has already been announced at 71mil and what'll happen is after drafts I'll update all the salaries so everyone can see what their cpas look like after the draft. Once they see their financial situation, people will be forced to move players around. With a salary cap in play, there won't be any encumberment with players like Shaq. So, just wait and see and if any problems come up after the draft, I'll be looking into fixing them ASAP.

Well, keep in mind I have about 5-10 people I know in real life who are interested in joining. Being short of people will be no problem this year so don't rush yourselves on that point.

Well, when I restart the league... I'll be reinviting all the original owners (about 15 total I believe) with a brief confirmation period so I make sure they're still active and ready to perform for next season. Then, I will check out the new updated UFC to make sure I get to know all the new settings and such so I can create a top-notch franchise league. Then I will begin inviting the new owners starting for the first who've registered to the bottom of the list. Those who don't get invited on the list will be considered reserve owners for those who become active later in the season. I'm going to be doing tons of new updates to the league to prevent cheating, inactivity and much more. I'm also going to be making much better organization of the league so it looks much better than the previous year.

All owners will recieve a salary cap to the update NBA salary caps ($71,000,000). This will go into effect after drafts and ownership rules regarding salaries will go into effect as soon as all salaries are updated. This trading period free of salary caps will be listed in the league once I begin it.

Snake draft greger so everyone gets a fair chance at snagging some decent picks and the whole draft is franchise with a full keeper league. I'm still reading up on a lot of stuff because I have to understand NBA.com's fantasy league engine. They've got a lot of things wrong with it and I need to know how to work around the kinks. I'll keep you up to date!

What do you guys think of Camby going to the Clippers? That's Baron Davis, Mobley, Possibly Magette, Kaman and Camby. If you ask me, it sounds like we got another runner in for the championship from L.A. this year.

I was in two others which were so horrible I stopped participating. Now I'm just in one so I can keep up with it.

I'm going to be re-drafting the league because some of the previous owners left the teams dry. So, this time around everyone will get the opportunity to be part of the big picture. Salaries have to be updated manually because NBA.com sucks. I'll be pulling up all the information from ESPN and updating them weekly. I'll start updating salaries as soon as the draft's over so you can make sure to set your line-ups appropriately.

Yeah, I'm going to be doing a big update. I'll be emailing this out as well in case you don't check the forums. I went through and deleted co-owners during my wipe and it made people unable to find the league. So, I will be removing everyone and I'll be reinviting all the veterans. Don't worry! I have all your emails to invite you guys so I will make sure you all are still in the league. Plus, you still can always contact me via email in case I messed up somehow. Sorry about the mix up!

This time around, the league will be much better than ever! We faced some minor inactivity but hardly enough to enjoy ourselves and this year, I plan to make sure pretty much no inactivity happens. Thanks to all the participants of last year's fantasy league. This is the first ever awards ceremony for the players of last year. These achievements will be given based on performance in all aspects of the field and even a social award! With that said, let's announce the winners:

I know some of you are in other leagues and would like to recruit. The league's page is not a place to advertise that so here's something for you: advertise here. Please be aware that I'm trying to keep people active in this league rather than moving to other leagues but I am all for people doing more than one. Just don't advertise within the league. Thanks.

As far as news on the keepers, I'm going to fill you guys in:

Since I'm assuming there will only be about 10 original owners from last season and since I will be implementing a new salary cap into the league as well as some other new changes, I may do the following:

• Redraft the league for better support for incoming owners since a lot of teams have been left shook up with weak lineups and because draft picks have been traded all over the place.
• Reroll the league as a franchise this means that instead of just one keeper, you'll be keeping your team and continuing to strengthen it in the upcoming seasons and beyond.
• Strengthening trades last year people weren't checking trades to protest and because of this, a lot of draft picks and top players were being moved around. This time around, I will double check and make sure trades come out appropriately. I will also be enforcing trade deals on draft picks so that new owners won't get shafted in case there are to be any.

And I may possibly implement more. This is still under discussion but make sure that you all recognize that this could happen. Please post any comments or concerns you may have on this.

**Also keep in mind that the clock-in is so I can immediately get some applications in for people that would like to join our league. I'm still contemplating on opening other leagues as well so watch out for that.

Elton Brand and Baron Davis are free agents. That's interesting and I'm itching to see where they'll go or if they'll stay.
